There are hundreds of promotional gift suppliers around the world that supply these fun toys: some are good and some are very bad. This is of course, the same in any industry. Whether or not stress balls actually distress the user is debatable. Having squeezed my share over the years I have my doubts. In fact, anyone who works in the stress ball industry will probably tell you the same. That said, the fact that they are known for having such de-stressing powers does not hurt when it comes to your marketing.

One way to find all of the different suppliers that sell stress balls is to type the following keywords into your favourite search engines.

Promotional stress balls

Promotional stressballs

Promotional stress relievers

Stress toys,

Stress busters

You are sure to come up with a large number of companies that can supply you. But what should you really be looking for? You need to find a company that is proud enough of their range that they are happy to send you sample. If you are making a large purchase, you should also compare prices with at least ten different suppliers. Most stress ball suppliers do not work with the actual factory manufacturing the goods. Instead the use wholesalers that print the stock for them and then they sell the products on to you including their markup.

This is a very expensive way of purchasing stress balls. You need to find the companies that actually have good longstanding relationships with the top manufacturers. This will be evident in their prices and the quality of their products. The two must go hand in hand and they will if you do your research.

I recommend searching for people that write about their products in articles online. Companies that do not use ghost writers but are actually passionate enough about their industry to write about it. There are so many things to consider when purchase stress relievers such as print quality, products quality, whether you want slow release stress toys or hard, whether you require special shapes or colors. Each of these issues must be acknowledged and considered before you make your purchase. Only those companies that know the industry well are going to be able to give you the best value for money.

Stress balls should be a low cost promotional gift. They are high volume promoters but they should also be purchased quite inexpensively in smaller quantities. I say "should" because this is not always the case. Do your homework and reap the benefits of these truly fun and colorful toys.

Now I would like to invite you to visit my promotional gifts website http://www.compugift.co.uk. Actually, stress balls are much more than little toys. They are one of the most popular low cost business gifts in the western world. There are hundreds of different shapes to choose from. Some suppliers can even manufacture made to order stress toys in the shape of one of your products with excellent results.

This is interesting as there are really very few promotional items that can be manufactured to order. The most popular promotional products such as pens, mugs, badges and clothing are all manufactured in bulk. It is rarely possible to change this design or that design unless you purchase thousands and then it is so expensive it does not warrant the additional costs. Do you have any products that would look good as a stress ball? If so, you are not alone. Thousands of companies order made to order stress balls shapes for their exhibition stands every year.

Whatever industry you are in, there should be a few off the shelf shapes that will suffice. This is of course the fastest option. Some of the most popular stress ball shapes are those in transportation shapes such as cars and planes, medical & pharmaceutical shapes, and industry related shapes. A simple search on your search engine of choice for stress balls will bring back a plethora of ideas.

Once you have chosen your shape, you need to decide what to print on them. I advise my customers to choose shapes that offer print areas that can be printed well with their design. Some shapes do not allow enough space to get your message across easily. The most popular shape, for example, the 70mm round ball has a print are of 35mm diameter. If you print a standard size web address across that area it will not show up very well. It would look much better to do a circular design which will allow the characters to print larger. You business gift supplier should be able to assist you with this.

There are different ways of handing the finished stress balls out on your stand. If you are on a limited budget, you may want to keep them in an area where they are not easily grabbed so that you can monitor who you hand them out to along with your company literature to qualified prospective customers. If on the other hand you have a large budget or you are in the lucky position where the majority of visitors are prospective clients, the stress balls can be used to decorate your stand. This looks great and it will attract more people to your stand to get their free stress ball. Nothing in life is free, however. Before you allow them to grab and dash, you should try to speak to them first and get their details so that you can do the proper follow up after the event. Studies have shown that doing this will get you a much better return from your promotional gifts budget.

Now I would like to invite you to visit my promotional gifts website. I've added a new technique to the usual method of trying to fill a half inflated balloon with corn starch or flour. If your not careful, using this method can often result in you being covered in a cloud of corn starch when you try to fill the balloon. With the method outlined below, you will completely avoid this problem, which makes the whole process of home made stress balls simpler, more enjoyable and less stressful!

To make your own stress balls just follow the instructions below:

Items you will need:

1. A small, thick round balloon.

2. An empty 2 litre plastic drinks bottle.

3. Corn starch or flour for filling the balloon.

Method:

1. Put your corn starch or flour, into the empty 2 litre plastic bottle.

3. Stand the bottle upright and put the balloon over the bottle rim without inflating it.

4. Squeeze the bottle to partly fill balloon with air.

5. While still squeezing the bottle, turn it upside down and shake the corn starch or flour down into the balloon.

6. Release the bottle, and work the excess starch back out of the balloon, along with any excess air. This allows the starch to settle and any excess filling goes back into the bottle.

7. Pinch the end of the balloon at the bottle rim and turn the bottle back upright, remove the balloon and tie it off as near to the filling as you can.

After you finish making your stress ball, you can decorate it with stickers, or paint a face on it. Just make sure you use decorations that won't irritate or rub off on your hand when it is squeezed.

And that's it. You have now learned how to make a stress ball for a fraction of the cost of buying one from a shop. They may not last quite as long as a commercially made stress balls, but there so easy and quick to make that you can simply replace them any time you need to.
Learning how to make a stress ball is one simple technique to relieve stress.
